Scott Eastwood has always seemingly stood by his dad's parenting, despite living apart from him for most of his life. It's undeniable that Clint Eastwood employed the tough love style of being a dad, refusing to fund his son's lifestyle and encouraging him to make his own way in Hollywood. But according to the iconic actor's son, Clint has also used his fists to teach Scott a lesson.
"I had taken my younger sister, who was, like, 14, to this party," the younger Eastwood told GQ Australia. "I left, maybe to go get beer with the guys. And I left her and I didn't think about it at the time. Later, Dad found out that I'd left her there." That's when the legendary actor pinned Scott up against a wall by his throat and punched him in the face, Scott related, going on to uphold his father's actions. "And it was very old-school, very old-school of him," the star said in the interview, adding, "I learnt quickly — you don't do that."
Scott also said in a 2018 interview that his dad can take you down with a look. "He will take you right down," the star emphasized.
