We all know that agreeing to marry your partner, boyfriend, girlfriend, best friend fulfilling a pact, you name it, can be an adjustment. After all, merging two lives together isn't always easy, and while getting engaged is often really exciting, it can present some new hurdles.
For Aidy Bryant and Conner O'Malley, getting engaged didn't seem to change a whole lot about their relationship — after all, they had been together for years by the time they decided to tie the knot — but Bryant dished to People that adjusting to engaged life was a little more challenging than she had anticipated. "I can't say the word 'fiancé,' it just feels corny to me," she said, and we can't help but imagine that she revealed that detail with her signature grin. "We're gonna go straight from 'boyfriend-and-girlfriend' to 'husband-and-wife' and skip this little fancy in-between period," she continued.
As for her wedding planning at the time, she actually hadn't yet put any plans into action. "I know it's bad," she said of her initial lack of planning, but she admitted that her family members had been "chill" with her timing. "I have to get my life on track," she joked. Don't we all.
